FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SUCCESSFUL EMISSIONS REDUCING TECHNOLOGY USING INFRARED ABSORPTION MAY SOON BE IN ALL FUELS, INVENTOR SAYS

New technology can be applied to any grade of gasoline or diesel fuel with dramatic improvement in performance and overwhelming reduction in emissions.

St. Petersburg, Florida, February, 1997 -- Inventor Dean F. Johnson says technology in his fuel additive capitalizes on phenomena that causes fuel to reach a higher internal temperature before burning. This results in far less air pollution.

"RxP is a commercially successful retail fuel additive, which is sold in auto parts stores around the country," says Johnson. "The technology may soon be in all fuels." (see http://www.rxp.com/rxp.htm)

According to Johnson all fuels contain infrared absorbers, which trap heat and light. Controlling this natural phenomena means getting much more energy out of the fuel and less emissions.

Research conducted by Dr. Richard A. Schneider, chief scientist of Schneider Laboratories in Alachua, Florida, into how Johnson's technology works has shown enhancement of infrared absorption causes more complete combustion, eliminating pollutants.

"This is the reason RxP is such a commercial success," says Schneider. "There is definitely something here."
(For Dr. Schneider's background see http://www.rxp.com/schneider.htm)

Johnson says the ramifications of this technology will eventually be felt in all combustion; from power plants, to the family lawnmower.

"Some time ago I challenged the folks at RxP to put their additive in ten old junk cars that had miserably failed the Texas State Emissions Test," said Ed Wallace popular talk show host on 570 KLIF AM radio in Dallas.

"Nine out of ten passed and I became a believer and user, along with tens of thousands of my listeners," said Wallace. "I found RxP, it did not find me."

Johnson says when his technology is applied to any grade of gasoline or diesel fuel there is a dramatic improvement in performance, especially in reformulated fuel (RFG).

Reformulated fuel has been highly criticized by consumers as the higher oxygen content hurts engine performance and reduces fuel economy. Johnson says his technology converts RFG into high grade gasoline.

"RxP meets all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards as well as enjoys great consumer support," added Johnson.
